How we learn is how we live

There are basic human tendencies that support the natural development of all human beings.  They are the reason why a child wants to know how things are made, and why children are filled with wonder when they enter a forest.    

When we create spaces that support these natural tendencies, children flourish and likely surprise us with their pursuit of knowledge, their innovative thinking, and their limitless curiosity.   Better yet— when nature is involved, we are orienting children to the living world to which they already belong. They grow to be secure, healthy, and happy children who pursue activities and life with little hesitation and a lot of energy.
